     First of all, for your information, I watched Ballon d'Or Gala for the first time ever. All thanks to the live streaming (: Actually I didn't plan to watch it as it was scheduled to start at 1900 CET (0200 GMT+8). I thought of waking up at 4 am to google the results but until 1:30am, I still couldn't sleep. So, I decided to watch the gala and ya, I regret nothing :D

                            

   Okay, I am so proud of my boy. He has won three consecutive Ballon d'Or awards( 2009, 2010, 2011) and that is just amazing! He is now the 4th player in history to win three Ballon d'Or awards and he is also the second one to win them consecutively after Platini (1983, 1984, 1985). For this year, the percentages of Ballon d'Or vote are: Messi (47.88%), Cristiano Ronaldo (21.6%), Xavi (9.23%).    I know some of the Cules are quite disappointed that Xavi didn't win the award. Come on, as long as Barcelona player wins, it's okay, right? Personally, after everything he has done for Barca and Spain NT,  yes, I think he deserved it too. He is the best midfielder and playmaker in the world. Just look at how he assisted 3/4 of Barcelona goals against Osasuna a week ago. He is incredible and he should've won Ballon d'Or before Messi existed. Haha ;D Anyway, Messi mentioned in his speech, "This is very special and I want to share with my friend and teammate, Xavi. He deserves this."  Aww you two <3

Haha I'm a footballERS addict remember? I love Messi, Syahrul, Nazmi, KFCM, Arshavin , Neymar and many more . But I love Messi the most ! Ngeheeeee Okay craps. Honestly, sometimes I get annoyed with this :

But ya, whenever I watch them playing on the pitch, I totally forget about how problematic they are. Haha no offence I still love you guys ;) You are very amazing so please don't let the controversies get the best of you . Sincerely, your true supporter .

2. The team spirit and brotherhood

 4. The thrill of watching the matches

It gives you an adrenaline rush that causes your heart to pump faster than ever. You can never sit still in front of the television because you get butterflies in your stomach. Ohh You feel like hugging your team's goalkeeper when he saves the opponent's shot but you want to smack the opponent's goalkeeper down when he saves your team's shot. You sigh in frustration when your team misses a goal  and you can't resist from jumping and  screaming out loud when they score. Correct me if I'm wrong ;)

         I still remember when I first read about this guy in a football magazine five years ago. There was an article on "Bintang Muda yang Bakal Menyinar". The writer listed out ten talented young footballers and one of them was Messi. He was only 19 and his hair was long. My first impression on him was ,"Euwww , rambut macam perempuan! Macam mak nyah je". Haha I've never liked long-haired men. And among the ten footballers I only remembered him because of his name. Messy. Haha I've been really really bad, I know. Anyway, the writer's last sentence was quite interesting, "Jika bakatnya diasah dengan betul, sedikit masa lagi Messi mampu menjadi pemain terbaik dunia." *Something like that. Okay, that was convincing and made me went WOW because the writer didn't write like that about the other nine footballers. I bet he must has been very good.

       After that, I've forgotten about him until World Cup 2010. I went 'raya-ing' at my uncle's house and my relatives watched Argentina vs Nigeria. I didn't join them but I got annoyed hearing the commentator kept mentioning Messi's name. So I sat right in front of the television while babbling to myself, "Meh aku tengok, bagus sangat ke mamat ni". Guess what? My jaw dropped! He was amazing. Actually I didn't know how to differentiate between good footballers and worst footballers because to me, they were all similar but I saw something different in Messi. I also saw the scared faces of Nigeria defenders whenever he got the ball. They tried very hard to stop him but he was unstoppable. Haha funny. Ohh the first thing that I noticed about him was, "Rambut dia dah pendek! ;D" and the second thing was,"Jersi dia nombor 10!". Waahhh :D  And I googled about him as soon as I got home. Then only I found out that he has already got the Ballon d'Or award  in 2009. Yes, the writer's prediction came true! Awesome! I also found a lot of things about him and I would say, he's more than a footballer (:

       Since then, he drove me crazy! Okay, serve me right. Five years ago, I laughed at his name but now, I'm the one who gets mad when people a.k.a my friends call him Messy instead of Messi. Haha how ironic. I used to mock him because of his hippie hair but after he chopped it off, I think he's really cute. He's one of the smallest footballers and it makes him look even cuter. Jajajaa you are the best footballer in this world ! Te amo Messi ♥
